CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas athletic department is excited to announce a new format for Bear Backers and the Basketball Coaches Radio Show starting in January 2015.  

    The new format, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 13, combines the traditional Bear Backers weekly luncheon and the Basketball Coaches Radio Show. The show will take place for nine consecutive weeks and will be aired statewide on 103.7 The Buzz during The Zone radio show hosted by Justin Acri and Pat Bradley. 

    The Zone will be aired each week in its entirety with from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the last hour dedicated to the Bears to discuss men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball and other UCA athletic teams, with guest appearances throughout the nine-week schedule.

    The newly created UCA Bear Backers Radio Show will also see a new venue along with the new format and new day of the week. The primary location of the show will be on campus in the UCA Student Center, with every third show originating from The Draft at 2235 Dave Ward Drive in Conway.  As always, the public is invited to hear what's going on in UCA Athletics and is encouraged to get involved by asking our coaches questions.
