CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas’ baseball game at Arkansas State set for Wednesday night has been canceled due to expected severe weather in Jonesboro.

The Bears (24-8), coming off a record-setting 30-0 victory over Grambling State on Tuesday night, will return to action at 6 p.m. Friday for a Southland Conference series against Nicholls State at Bear Stadium.

Saturday’s Game 2 will begin at 4, with the series finale set for 1 p.m. Sunday.
