FANS GET FIRST LOOK AT UCA SUITES

CONWAY, Ark. _ University of Central Arkansas fans and supporters, faculty and staff, got their first look at the new suites atop First Security Field at Estes Stadium during a Thursday open house, and they came away impressed.

The most heard remark was something along the line of “these are even nicer than what I was expecting.’

The 12 new suites will officially debut for the Bears’ home opener on Saturday against Bacone College. Kickoff is 6 p.m. The suites, 10 of which have been leased, will open at 2:30 for the opener. Two of the suites are available for rental on a  per-game basis.

The suites, which feature both indoor and outdoor seating along with access to a lounge area and restrooms exclusively for suiteholders, will rent for $2,500 per game, which includes 20 suite passes and two parking passes. Catering from Aramark will be also be available to patrons renting the skyboxes.

A dedication of the entire Bear Hall facility, which consists of the suites as well as a 385-bed residential hall and the EPIC (Enterpreneurship, Public Scholarship, Innovation, Community Engagement) Residential College, will take place during a pregame ceremony on the field.
