Conway, Ark.- The Central Arkansas Bears (3-8, 2-5) will host the Abilene Christian Wildcats (7-4, 6-1) for Senior Day at First Security Field in Estes Stadium, kickoff in Conway is set for 4 p.m. with senior recognition starting 25 minutes prior to kickoff. The Bears and Wildcats have played 15 times over the years with the first match up taking place in Conway in 1939, the result of that game was a 0-0 tie. Since then the Bears have won 12 times, the Wildcats have only won twice in this series, in 2014 and last year in Abilene.

This season the Bears are 1-4 in one score games but the Bears keep fighting and will continue to do the same on Saturday to finish the 2025 season on a high note and honor 17 seniors that have meant so much to the program. Quarterback Austin Myers has started the last 6 games, thrown for 1,597 yards and 13 touchdowns. Malachi Henry leads the receiving group with 747 yards and 8 touchdowns. The Bears defense is led by Dillon Williams who has 68 total tackles and 2 interceptions, Ashtyn Williams who has 63 total tackles and 1 interception and Dude Person who has 60 total tackles on the season.

For the Wildcats, it all comes down to this game on Saturday. With a win, they will at least be UAC co-champions and earn the automatic bid to the FCS playoffs. With a loss, their season is likely over. Quarterback Stone Earle has 2,461 passing yards this season, with 9 interceptions and 17 touchdowns. The running game for the Wildcats is divided between 3 backs, Rovaughn Banks Jr. has the most yards with 557, while Jordan Vaughn and EJ Wilson are both averaging 5.4 yards per carry. The Wildcats top receiver is Javon Gipson, he has 598 yards on the season with 3 touchdowns. Three players lead the defensive unit.
