CONWAY, Ark. – Central Arkansas men's soccer (5-2-1, 2-0 ASUN) will look to extend its home win streak when it faces ASUN opponent Jacksonville at home on Saturday.
 
Central Arkansas is coming off a road win against Bellarmine, beating the Knights 2-1 despite playing a man down for the final 29 minutes. Maxim Sheenkov struck first in the 44th minute for his second goal of the season, while Vaclav Kozeny added his second goal of the match in the 54th minute, giving him a team-leading four goals on the season.
 
Six Bears currently sit behind Kozeny and Sheenkov with one goal each this season. Garner Wolfe leads Central Arkansas with three assists, while Kyle Schwartz and Logan Smith follow with two assists apiece.
 
Central Arkansas has also been strong defensively, allowing just one goal through its first two ASUN matchups. Goalkeeper Merrick Cook has gotten off to a strong start to the season, posting a .846 save percentage to go along with two shutouts and two ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week awards. Central Arkansas also leads the ASUN with 102 saves.
 
The Bears enter Saturday's matchup with a 1-3-1 all-time record against Jacksonville, with the most recent meeting resulting in a Jacksonville victory in 2024.
