LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Central Arkansas STUNT team competed four times on the campus of the University of Kentucky this weekend, battling against some strong competition over the course of the weekend.
The Bears opened the weekend against the host Wildcats, posting a 25-5 loss. In the first quarter, Kentucky took an early 4-1 lead. The score repeated in the second, sending the teams to halftime separated by six points. The trend continued in the third quarter, extending the lead to 12-3, and the Wildcats finished the job in the fourth.
The second game of the weekend was against Maryville. The Bears scored 13 points against Saints, but ultimately fell 28-13. Saturday started against UT Martin, and the Bears posted 18 points against the Skyhawks, the most of any game this weekend. But Central Arkansas couldn't overcome 35 points from UT Martin, and fell to 0-3 on the weekend. The Bears wrapped up their time in Lexington against Jessup, dropping a 27-5 final.
Central Arkansas now look ahead to the Mid America West Conference Tournament, taking place at UT Martin's campus from April 10
