RALEIGH, N.C. – The Central Arkansas track and field teams completed day two of the Raleigh Relays and Alumni Bulldog Relays on Thursday with nine athletes competing across the two meets.
In the Alumni Bulldog Relays,
Joia Perry claimed the first result of the day for the Bears with a 10
th place finish in the women's discus throw. Perry's mark came in at 40.35 meters (132-05).
Jane Musengwa was right behind her, with a throw of 39.39 meters (129-03), good for a 12
th place finish.
Eniyah Birdow finished 19
th, coming in at 34.27 meters (112-05).
In the men's discus throw at the Alumni Bulldog Relays,
Eli Jones grabbed a top-10 finish for Central Arkansas with a throw of 50.28 meters (165-00), good for 7
th place.
Michael Savariau marked at 47.49 meters (155-10), finishing in 10
thplace, and
Zahir Mcphail came in 20
th place with a throw of 42.26 meters (138-08).
At the Raleigh Relays,
Abby Machesky finished her 1500-meter race in 4:44.81.
Kayleigh Wagnon finished the women's 5000-meter race in 17:11.51, while
Madeline Hill finished just behind with a time of 17:27.22.
The Alumni Bulldog Relays will resume for the Saturday session tomorrow with the women's javelin event beginning at 10:30 a.m. Live results will be provided by

The first Bear to compete in the Saturday session of the Raleigh Relays will be Baliee Villavaso, competing in the women's pole vault at 9 a.m. The meet will be streamed on
