CONWAY, Ark. — Central Arkansas (13-11, 3-3) come from behind to edged Bellarmine University (7-15, 2-4) with an 8-7 victory at Bear Stadium on Sunday. Central Arkansas rallied with a four-run sixth inning, which included a home run, to secure the win.
Central Arkansas faced Bellarmine in a tightly contested match-up. In the third inning, Bellarmine's Bell homered to left field, followed by Swader's RBI triple, pushing the visitors to a 2-0 lead. Central Arkansas responded with
Keon Moseni's RBI single, cutting the deficit to 2-1. After three innings, Bellarmine led 2-1.
Bellarmine extended its lead in the fourth inning when Acton scored on a hit by pitch with the bases loaded, making it 3-1. Bellarmine maintained its lead through the inning.
In the fifth inning, Bellarmine's A. Swader and L. Scales each hit solo home runs, increasing their lead to 5-1. Central Arkansas was held scoreless in the bottom half of the inning.
Central Arkansas mounted a comeback in the sixth inning.

In the seventh, Central Arkansas took the lead when Negre hit a three-run homer, bringing in Moseni and
Parker Gwyn putting Central Arkansas ahead 8-5 after seven innings.
The eighth and ninth innings were quiet, with neither team adding to the score. Central Arkansas secured an 8-7 victory over the Knights.
