CONWAY, Ark. – After a successful week on the softball diamond, Central Arkansas sophomore
Addie Graham was named the ASUN Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Graham was electric at the plate over five games last week, hitting 9-of-16 across five games. The sophomore had hits in every game, extending her hitting streak to 13 games. Batting leadoff, the speedy outfielder scored eight times across the week, and her statline at the plate included three doubles, a triple, a home run and seven RBI.
After last week's 3-2 record, Graham has the Bears 12-8 on the season. She is batting .397 through 20 games, with eight extra base hits and 16 RBI. She claims Central Arkansas's first weekly ASUN award of the season, and continues to build on her Freshman of the Year campaign.
Graham and the Bears host Tulsa on Wednesday this week, with a first pitch of 5 p.m. The Bears then host the Milisa Moore & Shane Lamb Memorial Tournament this weekend, playing four games across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
