Bears head coach, Josey Weaver said he was proud but not surprised about the selections from his team.

"For all of our student-athletes who were named to the ASUN All-Academic Team, I'd be lying if I said I was surprised," Weaver said. "These student-athletes pour a tremendous amount of time into both their schoolwork and their athletics. We do not recruit anyone to UCA who isn't committed to academic success. We believe that dedication in the classroom translates to success as a team. These individuals demonstrate that quality at the highest level."

The Bears will open the outdoor season on March 26 with the Raleigh Relays (N.C. State) and Alumni Bulldog Relays (Mississippi State).
