NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Central Ark. (14-10, 9-2 ASUN) secured an 86-78 victory over Lipscomb (15-10, 8-4 ASUN) on Saturday night at Allen Arena. This win marked the Bears' seventh consecutive victory and their third straight road win, propelling them into 2nd place in the ASUN standings. Central Ark. dominated inside, scoring 42 points in the paint, while forcing 15 turnovers from Lipscomb.

Central Arkansas took an early lead with a 10-0 run, highlighted by Camren Hunter's 3-pointer at the 17:10 mark and a layup from Ty Robinson. Robinson achieved a season and career-high total of 13 rebounds, including a season and career-high 9 defensive rebounds. Lipscomb responded with Grant Asman connecting on back-to-back 3-pointers, narrowing the gap to 10-8. However, Central Arkansas maintained their momentum, extending their lead to 27-16 following another scoring burst by Hunter, which included a 3-point play at 9:54. Despite a late push from Ethan Duncan, who hit consecutive 3-pointers to bring Lipscomb within two points, Central Arkansas held firm and ended the half leading 45-33, capped by a Cole McCormick 3-pointer with 17 seconds remaining. McCormick shone during the game, achieving a season and career-high total of 21 points.

Central Arkansas extended their lead early in the second half with a jumper from Hunter followed by a fast-break 3-pointer by Luke Moore, assisted by Robinson, to push the score to 50-33 at 19:17. Lipscomb's Asman responded with a layup at 18:29, sparking a brief rally that closed the gap to 50-40. McCormick and Hunter continued to press for Central Arkansas, contributing crucial points in the paint and maintaining their advantage. Despite a late charge from Lipscomb, including a 3-pointer by Asman at 00:31, Central Arkansas secured an 86-78 victory with key free throws from Robinson and Hunter in the final seconds.
