DELAND, Fla. — Central Arkansas (18-10, 13-2 ASUN) secured a decisive victory over Stetson (9-19, 5-10 ASUN) with a final score of 88-76 at the Edmunds Center on Thursday night. This victory marks the Bears' remarkable 11th consecutive win. The Bears capitalized on Stetson's turnovers, scoring 28 points off turnovers to maintain their lead throughout the game. Their 18th win of the season ties a record for the most wins in a season during the Division 1 era for Central Arkansas.
Central Arkansas opened the game with a strong offensive performance, quickly establishing a lead over Stetson.
Camren Hunter contributed in a big way, hitting a 3-pointer at 16:57, and providing an assist for a fast break layup by
Ty Robinson at 16:41, pushing the score to 8-3. Stetson struggled with turnovers, committing nine in the half, which the Bears capitalized on with seven steals.
Luke Moore's assist to Hunter for another 3-pointer at 11:20 extended the lead to 22-12. The Bears closed the half with
Parker Applegate's layup, securing a 52-26 advantage at the break.

In the second half
Javion Guy-King came out strong scoring three consecutive layups early in the period. Stetson's Ethan Copeland responded with a series of three-pointers, narrowing the gap to 64-42 at the 12:55 mark. Despite Stetson's efforts, the Bears retained control. In the final minutes, Hunter solidified the Bears' lead going 6-6 from the free throw line to end the half with an 88-76 victory over Stetson.
