CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas women's soccer team is back in action at the Bill Stephens Track and Soccer Complex on Sunday, taking on North Alabama in a UAC match. Kickoff against the Lions is set for 1 p.m.

The Bears (6-6-3, 3-2-1 UAC) made a triumphant return home on Thursday, defeating Austin Peay 2-0. Central Arkansas scored its two goals eighty seconds apart, first with a PK by Sakiko Manabe, then a beautiful combination got Megan Moudy a clean look from ten yards out to double the lead.

The goals mark number four for Manabe and five for Moudy, giving the Bears four players with 12 or more points this season. It's the first time that the Bears have had four players with 12 or more points since 2016, the year Central Arkansas went 15-4-1 and 10-0-1 in Southland matches.

Central Arkansas dropped both matches against North Alabama last season, both 1-0 results. Both scores were in the first half, and Central Arkansas just couldn't find an equalizer in Conway or Florence.

This season, North Alabama is 5-3-5 overall and 2-2-2 in UAC play. Last time out, the Lions snagged a 1-1 draw against Little Rock. The Lions struck first in the 22^nd minute, but were almost immediately answered just a few minutes later, and the score held through the end of regulation. The Lions have now tied each of their last two matches, both 1-1 finishes.

North Alabama has a very balanced offense this season, with 11 players logging at least one goal this season. Meg Walsh leads the team with four goals, one of seven players with multiple goals this season. In goal, Emily Dorfmann holds a 1.27 goals against average, making 55 saves this season.

Kickoff against the Lions is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday. The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available online. Attendance at Central Arkansas soccer is, as always, free of charge.
