WIAPAHU, Hawaii – The Central Arkansas women's soccer team dropped its first match in Hawaii, falling 1-0 to the 'Bows on Friday morning.

Anna Kathryn Harrell was able to stop eight. Meanwhile, Central Arkansas took just six shots, putting four of them on target. The Bears did have more corner kicks than the hosts, putting ten corners into play compared to six for the 'Bows.

th minute. But Hawaii's pressure eventually broke through, and the home team scored in the 34
th minute to score the lone goal of the match.
Hawaii continued to get shots up throughout the bulk of the second half as well, but the Central Arkansas defense settled in and kept the 'Bows from making real contact. The tide started to turn with less than ten minutes to go, as the Bears started finding looks and opportunities on the offensive side. Central Arkansas had five corner kicks within the final 15 minutes, along with several free kicks, but the shots just didn't find the net Friday morning.
