CONWAY, Ark. _ The North Alabama Lions turned 14 hits into an 8-4 victory over the University of Central Arkansas Bears on Friday in Game 2 of their ASUN series at Bear Stadium.
The game was tied 2-2 after two innings, then knotted again at 3-3 through four innings. But the Lions outscored the Bears 5-1 the rest of the way to win their second straight in the series. UCA finished with just six hits but senior right fielder
Preston Curtis had a pair of home runs to tie
Zeb Allen with the team lead at nine on the season.

Charlie Christensen allowed two runs in the first inning on a two-run home run by first baseman Petey Craska, his first of two on the day. Christensen then settled down and struck out the next five batters he faced in his two innings of work.
Curtis answered that himself with a solo home run to lead off the second. Freshman catcher

In the fourth, senior
Jagger Schattle's single up the middle scored Curtis. The Bears added their final run in the ninth on Curtis' second blast of the day. He finished 3 for 4 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored, a day after going 2 for 3 with 5 RBI and a run scored.Â
Goodshield and shortstop Nate Negre had two hits each. Senior
Perry Titlow took the loss in relief, while UNA reliever Gavin Oswald got the victory.
