COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Central Arkansas women's golf team wrapped up the final round of The Mo, hosted by Texas A&M on Tuesday, improving to a ninth-place finish as a team. Valeria Ramriez posted a top-15 finish of her own.
Ramirez did so by turning in an even 72 for her third and final round, scoring a pair of birdies along the way.
Emma Leroy Fabry added a birdie in the third round, finishing off a 77 in her last round.
Camila Negroni jumped up the leaderboards with a 76 on Tuesday, adding a birdie on five to climb 14 spots.
Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir played her way to an 86 for her final 18 holes, and
Tiana Eldem capped the day with an 85, sinking a birdie on the fifth hole.
Texas A&M walked away with a victory in its home tournament, leading Northern Colorado in second place by 38 strokes. Abilene Christian rounded out the top-three, five strokes behind Northern Colorado. Individually, Texas A&M took the top-two spots, in Cayetana Fernandez and Vanessa Borovilos. Texas State's Yvonne Chamness came in third place.
Central Arkansas now turns the page to the ASUN Championship, which will take place next week in Huntsville, Alabama. For complete stats and standings, visit the
