NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Central Arkansas STUNT battled for four quarters against Mercyhurst on Friday, but ultimately fell 19-5 in Nashville.
The Bears opened with two points in the partner stunts, keeping neck and neck with Mercyhurst's three. The second quarter saw the teams repeat their scores, and Central Arkansas went into halftime down 6-4. Mercyhurst grabbed two more points in the tumbling, and then outscored the Bears 11-1 in the fourth quarter.
Central Arkansas is back on the mats on Saturday, wrapping up a four-game weekend with games against Cal Baptist and Hope International.
