MARTIN, Tenn. – The Central Arkansas STUNT team split its first day in Martin, Tennessee, falling to the hosting Skyhawks to open the day before rebounding for a dominant win over Western Kentucky.
The Bears fought in all four quarters against the Skyhawks, scoring seven points before ultimately falling to the host 16-7. Central Arkansas trailed 3-2 after partner stunts, and added another point in the second quarter to take a 6-3 deficit into halftime. The Bears continued to score in the second half, but couldn't make up the deficit, and ended the game 16-7.
Central Arkansas dominated the second game, jumping out 3-0 after one and 6-0 by halftime. The Bears claimed all four points in the third quarter, cruising through the tumbling to take a 10-1 lead to the fourth. Central Arkansas wrapped up in total control, doubling its points over the final four routines to land a 20-2 win over the Norse.
Central Arkansas has two more games this weekend, playing Centenary and Missouri State on Sunday.
