After dropping the opening set, Central Arkansas bounced back to win the next two behind a strong offensive rhythm and consistent serving. The Sugar Bears battled to the wire in the fourth, but Lipscomb closed the frame late to force a decisive fifth, where they used a .684 hitting percentage to pull away.
With the setback, UCA moves to 13–11 overall and 10–4 in ASUN play, while Lipscomb improves to 9–5 in league action.
