CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Central Arkansas Sugar Bears secured their spot in the ASUN Championship with a 3–1 road win over Austin Peay on Friday night, taking the match by set scores of 25–18, 22–25, 25–19, and 25–15.
Gabby Tuiaana led the charge with 19 kills on a .342 hitting percentage, while
Laci Bohannan added 13 kills and 17 digs in another strong two-way performance. Setter
Caylan Koons was steady as ever, recording 42 assists, 16 digs, and three aces to pace a Sugar Bears offense that hit .213 as a team

Alexis McDaniel reached a career milestone, surpassing
1,500 digs, while anchoring the back row with 17 on the night.
With the victory, Central Arkansas improves to 13–10 overall and 10–3 in ASUN play, officially clinching a berth in the 2025 ASUN Championship Tournament. Sugar Bears head to Nashville tomorrow to face Lipscomb at 6 p.m.
