CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The University of Central Arkansas volleyball team dominated from start to finish Friday night, sweeping Queens University (25-22, 25-14, 25-13) inside Curry Arena. The win pushes UCA to 9-8 overall and 6-1 in ASUN Conference play.

The Sugar Bears delivered one of their most balanced performances of the season, hitting an impressive .306 as a team while holding Queens to just .115. Laci Bohannan led the charge with 11 kills, while Gabby Tuiaana added 10 on a .318 hitting clip. Greyson Button was highly efficient in the middle with seven kills and three total blocks.

Setter Caylan Koons orchestrated the offense beautifully, tallying 33 assists, eight digs, and a pair of service aces. Defensively, Alexis McDaniel anchored the back row with 13 digs, while McKinzee Haas contributed five kills and four blocks to help close out the Royals' attack.

UCA's aggressive serving also made a difference, with six aces spread across the lineup—two each from Koons and Ella Chaney. The Sugar Bears never trailed after the midway point of the second set, cruising to their second straight sweep.

Sugar Bears will head to Georgia to face off West Georgia on October 19th at 12 p.m.
