CONWAY, Ark. – The Central Arkansas men's soccer team is set for an ASUN match at home, playing back-to-back home matches for the only time this season. Saturday's match is against Lipscomb, and the Bears and Bisons will kick off at 7 p.m. at the Bill Stephens Track and Soccer Complex.
 
The Bears (2-6-2, 1-0-1 ASUN) picked up a big-time win over Bellarmine on Sunday, taking a 2-1 victory to move into first place in the ASUN Gold Division. Vaclav Kozeny and Devonte Richards both tallied goals in the win, and for the first time this season, the Bears logged multiple goals in back-to-back games. Central Arkansas has now scored in each of the last five, with two goals in each of the last two outings.
 
Richards now leads the team with three scores, and has both game-winners for the Bears this season. Between the posts, Merrick Cook now has two wins under his belt, and has allowed only six goals in his four matches, making 28 saves.
 
Lipscomb (1-7-3, 0-1-1 ASUN) continues to struggle offensively, much like the early season Bears. It's been more than a month since the Bisons have scored, with six-straight matches without a goal. The Bisons have been outshot 189-91 through 11 matches, and have only put 24 shots on goal.
 
The Bisons' offense is led by Levi Jones and Diego Ramirez, who both have two goals this season. Jones tallied his in a brace against Mercer, and Ramirez scored his against Memphis and Georgia State. Between the posts, the Bisons have played two keepers, with Alex Kara and Noah Kump have combined to allow 22 goals and make 56 saves.
 
Kickoff against Lipscomb is set for 7 p.m. at the Bill Stephens Track and Soccer Complex. The match will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats available online. As always, admittance to Central Arkansas soccer is free.
