CONWAY, Ark. – Still in the Volunteer State, the Central Arkansas women's soccer team wraps up a road trip at Austin Peay on Sunday. Kickoff against the Governors is set for 1 p.m. in Clarksville, Tennessee.
 
Central Arkansas (4-5, 3-0 ASUN) is on a four-game winning streak, having defeated Lipscomb in Nashville 3-2 on Thursday. The Bears overcame a quick 2-0 deficit against the Bisons, scoring three unanswered goals to steal one on the road. Sophia Backstrom, Anna Kerr and Kelly Van Gundy all tallied goals in the win, with Backstrom and Van Gundy each scoring their fourth of the year.
 
Thursday's win has the Bears with a 3-0 start to ASUN play, with two important road wins already. The Bears are the last remaining unbeaten team in the ASUN, and lead the conference in total goals during league matches with seven.
 
The Bears are 2-0 against Austin Peay all-time, claiming both matchups since the team's joined the ASUN. Both games have been decided by a single score, with last season's final being 2-1.
 
Austin Peay defends home field with a 4-4-2 record, going 2-1 in its first three ASUN games. Last time out, the Govs posted a 2-0 home win over North Alabama. Two second half goals, both from Aniyah Mack, lifted the Govs to their third home win of the season.
 
Alec Baumgardt leads the team in scoring this season, scoring four goals through the first ten matches. She also leads the team by a healthy margin with 34 shots on the year, putting 11 of those on frame. In goal, Lauryn Berry has played all ten matches, allowing 12 goals while making 48 saves.
