LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track & Field teams made a short trip to the Little Rock Invitational this weekend.

After two days of competition, the Bears broke four UCA records, placed first in nine events, earned 103 top-10 finishes and set 53 personal records.

Breaking the UCA record, Joia Perry placed first in the women's Hammer Throw with a throw of 54.97m (180-4.0).

Breaking the UCA Record, Raghan Allen placed first in the women's 200m with a time of 23.37.

Breaking the UCA record in the women's 4x100m relay, the UCA team consisting of Raghan Allen, Kendelle McCoy, Ciara Tucker, and Troynelle Miller placed first with a time of 44.76.

Breaking the UCA record in the men's 4x100m relay, the UCA team consisting of Kobe Gill, Jake Green, Wesley Suen, and TyJuan Huffman placed second with a time of 39.89.

Luke Stringer placed first in the men's Javelin with a throw of 48.68m (159-9.0).

Jenny Peake placed first in women's Javelin with a throw of 34.41m (112-11.0).

In the men's Shot Put, Jaden Schneeberger placed first with a throw of 15.56m (51-0.5).

Sara Steimel placed first in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:36.22.

Armonte Paulk placed first in the 400m with a time of 47.52.

Kamaria Russell placed first in the women's 400m with a time of 56.47.

Madeline Hill placed first in the women's 5000m with a time of 17:53.62.

In the women's Discus, Joelle Stewart placed third with a throw of 42.27m (138-8.0). Miranda Nichols placed fourth with a throw of 41.58m (136-5.0), Serena Degollado placed sixth with a throw of 33.86m (111-11.0), Joia Perry placed eighth with a throw of 32.76m (107-6.0), and Kiara Williams placed tenth with a throw of 32.57m (106-10.0). In the men's Shot Put, Jaden Schneeberger placed first with a throw of 15.56m (51-0.5). Luke Stringer placed second with a throw of 14.14m (46-4.75), Levi Dugger placed seventh with a throw of 11.67m (38-3.5), and Maximillian Laur placed eighth with a throw of 11.53m (37-31-3.25).

In the men's 110m hurdles, Byron Holt placed fourth with a time of 14.35. Xavier Simpkins placed fifth with a time of 14.48, Charles Nnantah Jr. placed ninth with a time of 15.75, and Levi Dugger placed tenth with a time of 16.80.

In the women's 100m hurdles, Madisyn Crandall placed third with a time of 14.78. Kylie Wright placed fifth with a time of 15.38.

Armonte Paulk placed first in the 400m with a time of 47.52. Bruce White finished 11^th with a time of 51.12.

Kamaria Russell placed first in the women's 400m with a time of 56.47.

In the men's 100m dash, Wesley Suen placed second with a time of 10.35. Aaron Webb placed third with a time of 10.40, TyJuan Huffman placed fifth with a time of 10.59, and Kristopher Hayes placed ninth with a time of 10.76.

In the women's 100m dash, Raghan Allen placed second with a time of 11.61. Troynelle Miller placed third with a time of 11.64, Ciara Tucker placed fourth with a 11.66, and Kendelle McCoy placed fifth with a time of 11.72. Brenae Allen finished 11^th with a time of 12.24.

Jack Dingman placed second in the 800m with a time of 1:52.63. Jonathan Heath placed third with a time of 1:54.19, Hayden Boyett placed seventh with a time of 1:59.59, and Bresner Austin placed eighth with a time of 2:04.28.

In the women's 800m, Ashlyn Floyd placed third with a time of 2:21.14. Anna Bommes placed fifth with a time of 2:23.65 and Emma Selph placed sixth with a time of 2:27.22.

In the men's 400m hurdles, Byron Holt placed third with a time of 57.14. Charles Nantah Jr. placed fourth with a time of 57.66.

In the women's 400m hurdles, Symone Quiles placed third with a time of 1:03.70. Madisyn Crandall placed fourth with a time of 1:07.77.

Beau Melancon placed third in the men's 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 10:32.18.

In the men's 200m, Wesley Suen placed sixth with a time of 21.12. TyJuan Huffman placed tenth with a time of 21.28, Jake Green finished 11^th with a time of 21.29, and Aaron Webb finished 12^th with a time of 21.47. Xavier Simpkins finished 15^th with a time of 21.59, Kristopher Hayes finished 17^th a 21.65, and Bruce White finished 23^rd with a time of 22.08.

Raghan Allen placed first in the women's 200m with a time of 23.37. Kendelle McCoy placed second with a time of 23.77, Kamaria Russell placed sixth with a time of 24.17, and Ciara Tucker placed seventh with a 24.29. Troynelle Miller finished 11^th with a time of 24.53 and Brenae Allen finished 13^th with a time of 24.94.

Carlos Hernandez placed first in the men's 5000m with a time of 15:29.92. Jack Dingman placed second with a time of 15:53.16, Gavin Frick placed third with a 15:55.73, Lucas Tauch placed fourth with a time of 15:58.17, and Thomas Cain placed fifth with a time of 16:13.81.

"We had a great two days of competition at the Little Rock Invitational. Four school records broken, and got the win on the women's side. We just about came home with a clean sweep. Looking at last year's team results compared to this year's shows a lot of growth and steps in the right direction for our program. Excited to continue this momentum in to the next few weeks."

With UCA placing first for the women's team, UCA earned two points for the Governor's I-40 Showdown, while Little Rock took the other two points with their first place finish for the men's team.
