CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Central Arkansas beach volleyball team dropped the final game of the Stacheville Beach Bash down in Tennessee. After the loss to the Lions, UCA falls to 4-15 on the season.

A freshman pair of Bears got UCA on the board as Liliana Irizary and Ella Weilert had an intense battle in the No. 4 spot. The pair was able to come away with a 22-20 win in set two to even the score at one apiece. Payton Sproule and Anna Collums continued to play well this season, winning the first set in the No. 3 spot and then winning 15-10 in the tiebreak set. UCA dropped its third straight to the Lions, but still have a lead in the series, 6-3.
UCA will head back down to Louisiana for the third time this month next weekend to take part in the ULM Beach Invitational to face ULM and Eastern Kentucky on Friday, March 29th and Hendrix and Tarleton on Saturday, March 30th.
