CONWAY, Ark. – Fresh off of a terrific win on Saturday, the Central Arkansas men's soccer team hits the road for a quick non-conference stop at Tulsa. Facing the Golden Hurricane, The Bears will kick off at 7 p.m.
 
The Bears improved to 5-4 overall after beating the Bisons, thanks to goals from Elijah Bishop and Pietro Fontana. Central Arkansas moved into second place in the conference standings, behind only Stetson.
 
Central Arkansas looks to build on the success of the last few weeks, allowing one or fewer goals in the last three matches, which has yielded a pair of wins in ASUN matches. Some of that has been trying to limit the number of shots from their opponents, but a lot of it has to do with Javier Ramirez in goal. Only allowing multiple goals in three games this season, Ramirez has been a big part of the success so far this season. He's allowed just 10 goals through the first nine matches, with 48 saves so far this season.
 
Tulsa enters the week 2-7-1, defeating Florida Atlantic last time out. The Golden Hurricane has struggled on both sides of the ball, scoring only ten times while allowing 22 goals. Camilo Vargas leads the team with three goals.
 
The Golden Hurricane have not had a tough time finding shots, outshooting their opponents 108-104 across ten games, but have had a tough time scoring. The shots have been going in a little better during American Athletic Conference games, with four of the ten scores coming in the three league games.
