LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track and Field teams traveled to the Little Rock Invitational on Thursday and Friday. After two days of competition, the Bears brought home nine first-place finishes, 33 top-10 finishes, set 29 personal records and three facility records for the Coleman Sports Complex in Little Rock.  
 
Breaking the UCA record, Ayana Harris placed first in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 14.02. She also set a facility record for the Coleman Sports Complex.

On Thursday, Aidan Patton placed third in the men's Hammer Throw with a throw of 51.26m (168-2.0).
In the women's Hammer Throw on Thursday, Kiara Williams placed fifth with a throw of 42.51m (139-6.0). Miranda Nichols placed eighth with a throw of 36.82m (120-10).
Luke Stringer placed first in the Javelin throw with a throw of 46.74m (153-4.0).  Taylor Michie placed eighth with a throw of 30.69m (100-8.0).
Allyson Sellers placed fourth in the women's Javelin Throw with a throw of 26.53m (87-0.0).
In the men's Long Jump, Bryson Bailey placed sixth with a jump of 6.70m (21-11.75).
In the women's Long Jump, Natalie Louw placed fifth with a jump of 5.37m (17-7.5).
Natalie Louw placed first in the women's High Jump with a jump of 1.70m (5-7.0).
Aidan Patton placed second in the men's Shot Put with a throw of 15.77m (51-9.0).

In the men's Discus, Aidan Patton placed seventh with a throw of 41.92m (137-6.0).
In the women's Discus, Kiara Williams placed seventh with a throw of 37.82m (124-1.0). Miranda Nichols placed eighth with a throw of 37.50m (123-0.0).
In the women's Triple Jump, Abby McMillin placed seventh with a jump of 10.41m (34-2.0).
In the men's Pole Vault, Taylor Michie placed third in the men's Pole Vault with a jump of 3.80m (12-5.5).
Sophia Schrader placed second in the women's Pole Vault, setting a facility record for the Coleman Sports Complex with a jump of 3.45m (11-3.75). Kylie Coleman placed third with a jump of 3.35m (10-11.75) and Anne Baliel placed seventh with a jump of 2.90m (9-6.25).
 
Track Events
On Thursday, Parker Jackson placed first in the 10,000m with a time of 31:40.96.
In the women's 4x100 relay, the UCA team consisting of Indiyah Aldridge, Kamaria Russell, Ciara Tucker, Ayana Harris placed second with a time of 47.21.
In the men's 1500m, Bresner Austin placed third with a time of 4:01.98. Hunter Henderson placed fourth with a time of 4:02.89.
Anna Bommes placed first in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:39.66. Emma Selph placed third with a time of 4:45.47, Ali Nachtigal placed sixth with a time of 4:50.43, Isabel Lynch finished 19^th with a time of 5:14.02, and Kennedy Timmerman finished 23^rd with a 5:22.85.
Ayana Harris placed first in the women's 100m hurdles, setting a facility record for the Coleman Sports Complex with a time of 14.02.
In the men's 400m, Bruce White placed seventh with a time of 51.05.
Zadie St. Louis placed first in the women's 400m with a time of 56.27. Grace Deshotels placed eighth with a time of 1:00.01.
In the men's 100m, TyJuan Huffman placed third with a time of 10.59. Wesley Suen placed fifth with  a time of 10.65.
In the women's 100m, Ciara Tucker placed fourth with a time of 12.14. Z'Kiah Kuykendall was close behind in fifth with a time of 12.20 and Indiyah Aldridge finished 13^th with a time of 12.68.
In the men's 800m, Bresner Austin placed seventh with a time of 2:00.33. Johnny Cordero placed eighth with a time of 2:00.88, Tomas Thompson placed ninth with a 2:01.94, Jackson Salsman finished 10^th with a 2:02.03, and Hunter Henderson finished 12^th with a time of 2:02.69.
Emma Selph placed first in the women's 800m with a time of 2:19.22. Jewel Baer placed seventh with a time of 2:25.82, Ali Nachtigal placed eighth with a time of 2:28.19, and Isabel Lynch placed 13^th with a time of 2:36.99.
In the men's 400m hurdles, Tyrone Luckett placed third with a time of 55.39.
In the women's 400m hurdles, Taylor Conway placed second with a time of 1:05.49. Kayla Scott placed sixth with a time of 1:09.76.
In the men's 200m, Wesley Suen placed third with a time of 21.24. TyJuan Huffman placed seventh with a time of 21.65.
In the women's 200m, Kamaria Russell placed second with a time of 24.38. Aubrey Elam finished 21^st with a time of 27.42.
Philipp Haessner placed first in the men's 5000m, setting a facility record for the Coleman Sports complex with a time of 14:51.88. Carlos Hernandez placed fourth with a time of 15:45.81 and Beau Melancon placed fifth with a time of 16:25.21.
In the women's 5000m, Felisa Saheib placed second with a time of 18:58.72.
In the women's 4x400 relay, the UCA team consisting of Grace Deshotels, Zadie St. Louis, Anna Bommes, and Taylor Conway placed first with a time of 3:54.93.

"Proud of our men and women for competing hard today. Our lack of depth was exposed and showed in the team scoring. That is our job as coaches to fix in the years to come. We plan to add a lot of talent to our roster. It will be fun to compete against Little Rock when we have a full squad."
