MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track and Field teams traveled to the Memphis Invitational this weekend. After one day of competition, the Bears earned eight top-10 finishes and set three personal records.
For day two, the field events will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Men's High Jump and the running events will begin shortly after at 11:45 a.m. with the Women's 100m hurdles prelims.

In the women's Hammer Throw,
Kiara Williams finished 11
th with a throw of 40.65m (133-4.0).
Miranda Nichols followed in 12
th with a throw of 37.41m (122-9.0) and
Jalyn Akins finished 13
th with a throw of 36.38m (119-4.0).
Aidan Patton placed eighth in the men's Hammer Throw with a throw of 53.32m (174-11.0).
Allyson Sellers placed sixth in the women's Javelin with a throw of 30.14m (98-11.0).
Parker Benefield placed sixth in the Pole Vault with a jump of 4.38m (14-4.50).
Sophia Schrader placed sixth in the women's Pole Vault with a jump of 3.67m (12-0.5).
Maygan Jarvis placed ninth with a jump of 3.22m (10-6.75) and
Anne Baliel placed 10th with a jump of 3.07m (10-0.75).
Track Events
In the women's 1500m,
Isabel Lynch placed 10
th with a time of 5:08.91.
In the men's 1500m,
Hunter Henderson placed seventh with a time of 4:00.17.
