NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears Men's and Women's Track and Field teams traveled to the University of Oklahoma for the two-day Sonner Invitational.

After two days of competition, the Bears broke two school records, earned 16 top-10 finishes, and set 19 personal records.

Breaking the UCA record previously held by her, Ayana Harris placed first in the women's 100m hurdles finals with a time of 13.95. Kayla Scott placed fourth with a time of 14.81.

In the women's High Jump, Natalie Louw placed third with a jump of 1.53m (5-0.25).
In the women's Discus, Kiara Williams finished 21^st with a throw of 35.12m (115-2.0).
In the women's Pole Vault, Sophia Schrader placed eighth with a personal record jump of 3.65m (11-11.75).
In the women's Triple Jump, Abby McMillin placed ninth with a personal record jump of 10.61m (34-9.75).
In the men's Discus, Aidan Patton placed third with a personal record throw of 42.89m.
 
Track Events
In the women's 4x100 relay, the UCA team consisting of Kamaria Russell, Indiyah Aldridge, Ayana Harris, and Z'Kiah Kuykendall placed fourth with a time of 46.43.
In the women's 1500m, Isabel Lynch finished 23^rd with a time of 5:23.15.
In the women's 400m, Zadie St. Louis finished 12^th with a time of 57.14. Grace Deshotels finished 18^th with a 59.26.
In the men's 400m, Tyrone Luckett finished 21^st with a personal record time of 49.53. Bruce White finished 24^th with a time of 50.29.
Ayana Harris placed first in the women's 100m hurdles finals with a personal record time of 13.95. Kayla Scott placed fourth with a personal record time of 14.81.
In the men's 110m Hurdles, Preston Barker placed seventh with a time of 15.62.
In the men's 800m, Jackson Salsman finished 25^th with a personal record time of 2:00.45. Johnny Cordero was close behind in 26^th with a time of 2:00.73 and Hayden Boyett finished 30^th with a personal record time of 2:02.83.
In the women's 200m, Kamaria Russell placed seventh with a personal record time of 24.33. Ciara Tucker finished 18^th with a time of 25.27.
In the men's 200m, Wesley Suen finished 12^th with a personal record time of 21.527.
In the women's 4x400 relay, the UCA team consisting of Kamaria Russell, Grace Deshotels, Zadie St. Louis, and Kayla Scott placed second with a time of 3:54.11.
In the men's 4x400 relay, the UCA team consisting of Preston Barker, Bruce White, Wesley Suen, and TyJuan Huffman placed fifth with a time of 3:25.214.
