CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas has signed Hot Springs native Jabari West, Jr., according to head coach
Anthony Boone.
West, who played at Hot Springs High School, will come to UCA from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. West originally signed with George Washington University out of high school and redshirted in 2022-23. He is currently playing at South Plains, which is 10-0 on the season.
West is a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward who will have three years of eligibility at UCA. Â
"Jabari is a remarkable young man from a great family," said Boone, "and I am excited for him to return to the state and be an immediate impact for our program. He will bring toughness, rebounding, and an additional and much needed physical presence to our roster."
