CONWAY, Ark. _ For the first time since 2016, the University of Central Arkansas Bears will host the Arkansas State Red Wolves at the Farris Center on Tuesday night.
The Bears and Red Wolves will meet at 7 p.m. on Scottie Pippen Court on "White Out" night at the Farris Center. The Bears will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first game at the Farris Center on Dec. 7, 1972 against Hendrix College.
The teams have met just once since 2016, last year in Jonesboro, with the Red Wolves winning 95-82. UCA got a game-high 30 points from senior

UCA enters Tuesday's game with a 4-4 record against solid competition, including an 85-70 loss at Loyola Chicago in its last game on Wednesday night in Chicago. The Bears are 1-0 against in-state NCAA Division I competition this season, with an 82-71 victory over the Little Rock Trojans at the Farris Center back on Nov. 14.

The Red Wolves are 5-3 overall, with three victories over non-Division I teams in Harding, Lyon and Bethel, along with Mississippi Valley State and UT Martin. Their losses have been to LSU by just nine points, at UC Davis and vs. Prairie View A&M at home. ASU's latest game was a 58-38 win over MVSU on Thursday in Jonesboro.Â
The Red Wolves, out of the Sun Belt Conference, are averaging 69.6 points per game and allowing 60.4. Their highest scoring game was a 90-65 win over Bethel, an NAIA school from McKenzie, Tenn. Sophomore guard Malcolm Farrington leads ASU in scoring at 15.0 points per game, with a high of 18 against Bethel. Graduate Omar El-Shiekh averages a team-high 7.4 rebounds.
ASU is coached by Mike Balado in his sixth season in Jonesboro.
The Bears, who had three players in double figures against Loyola, have four averaging at least 11 points per game, led by sophomore guard
Camren Hunter at 16.1 points per game. Senior
Eddy Kayouloud is averaging 15.3, while junior
