Conway, Ark. - On the back of an opening night victory, the Bears host the Bruins of Belmont on Sunday, August 29, in a non-conference matchup.

The Bears will be without multiple players despite it being the second match of the season, including Katsuyoshi Kimishima and Jose Carlos Gonzalez. With four Bears playing the full 90 minutes on Thursday night against UTRGV, the side will look to regain fitness before the matchup against the Bruins.

Central Arkansas is coming off a season opening win 4-3 over UTRGV which saw three Bears find the back of the net in Alberto Suarez, Vicent Abaso, and Rubyn Gill.

Belmont is coming into the match after a 3-1 loss to Missouri State after getting a draw and win in their two exhibition matches against UAH and Memphis.Â

The match will be the third meeting between the sides with the tie being split 0-0 in late February of last season.

Multiple Bears will look to improve on their performance in the opening match, with a few standouts looking to bounce back from their debut game. Karim Diao, Jerry Gutierrez, and Jonathan Randall played a big role in the season opener including getting involved in build-up play that led to goals by the Bears. Alberto Suarez, Ole Kjoerholt, and Zach Schawl look to hold a strong back-line.Â
