HOLLISTER, Mo. – Two days of golf in the books for the UCA women's golf team, and after 36 holes, the team holds a slight edge over Arkansas state to take sole possession of second place after hitting 6-over 294. All five team competitors for UCA are currently placed in the top-20.
Pim Thitisup led the way for the Bears, posting a 1-over 73 to move into a tie for sixth place. She's followed closely by
Camila Moreno in 10
th place after hitting a 74 on Tuesday.
Elin Kumlin and
Karley Whittington share 14
th place after their second rounds, with scores coming in at 78 and 73, respectively. Rounding out the top-20 for the team,
Tania Nunez hit a 2-over 74 for the day, landing her in a tie for 19
th place.
The girls will play one more round on Wednesday, wrapping up the tournament at the Ozarks National Invitation. UCA seeks its second top-five finish of the year, after claiming fifth place earlier this season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
