CONWAY, Ark. —The University of Central Arkansas women's basketball team returns to action at the Farris Center for a game against Stephen F. Austin on Wednesday. Over the last five seasons, the Sugar Bears are 16-16 after losing a conference game.
 
The Sugar Bears will be without their leading scorer Jalisa Outlaw. Outlaw leads UCA with 119 points and is averaging 13.2 points per game. She has a team-high 38 made free throws. Outlaw's free throws made is tied for 66th in the country and fourth in the SLC. Her free-throw percentage of 86.4 percent is tied for 70th in the nation and second in the Southland. Lucy Ibeh is averaging 8.8 points per game and leads UCA with 5.9 rebounds per game. Ibeh is currently tied for 113th in the NCAA with 18 steals and is tied for 14th in the Southland. Ibeh is currently tied for 143rd in the nation with 2.0 steals per game, which is tied for ninth in the conference. Ibeh is second on the team with 53 rebounds. Tori Lasker is averaging 2.9 assists per game and leads the team with 23 assists. Savanna Walker is second on the team with 19 assists. Briana Trigg leads the team with 54 rebounds. As a team, UCA is tied for 62nd in the NCAA with 138 made free throws, which is fourth in the conference.
 
Last time out, Walker paced the Sugar Bears with a team-high 16 points, which is a new season high. Lasker found her grove as she finished with a career-high 13 points and added a game-high five assists. Hannah Langhi posted a season-high 10 points, led UCA with seven rebounds, and produced a game-high two blocks.
 
This will be the 27th meeting between UCA and SFA. The Ladyjacks lead the series 18-8 and are riding a seven-game winning streak. In the last matchup, SFA defeated UCA 58-37 in Conway.
 
SFA leads the nation as a team with 181 steals and has eight players in double-digit steals. Stephanie Visscher is tied for 10th in the NCAA with 30 steals and is tied for the conference lead. The SFA defense has forced 26.25 turnovers per game and have a turnover margin of 10.25, both are tied for third in the country and lead the Southland. Offensively, Zya Nugent leads the Ladyjacks with 13.8 points per game. Visscher is second with 11.3 points per game and leads the team with 38 assists. Avery Brittingham leads SFA with 80 rebounds and is averaging 6.7 rebounds per game.
