CONWAY, Ark. — Head Coach
Autumn Erickson and the Central Arkansas beach volleyball team announced the addition of three student-athletes to the 2021 recruiting class on Friday.
The class bolsters an athletic group from three different states, Arkansas, Missouri and Virginia. The versatility of the class will help provide depth on the court as well as a strong presence in the classroom. Katie Atkinson, Ryenne Gepford, and Tania Molinari all have numerous academic accolades to go along with their talent on the court.
"Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and experience the incoming 2021 class will bring to our program," Coach Erickson said. "We are adding a lot of athleticism and versatility to the roster that perfectly complement our team and goals moving forward."
Katherine Atkinson
Cabot, Arkansas | Cabot High School

Erickson on Katherine: "We are always excited to bring Arkansas players on to our roster. Katie is a tremendous athlete whose raw athleticism will immediately stand out when she joins the squad. She is an outstanding student with a charming and respectful attitude. She will be a great asset to the program not only on the court, but with her character off the court."
Ryenne Gepford
Butler, Missouri | Butler High School

- Four-Time Academic All-State

- Four-Time All-District
- 1,000 kills in indoor
Erickson on Ryenne: "Ryenne is a tremendous athlete. She has a lot of experience on the sand and hails from a great club program in Missouri. Her powerful attacking and overall versatility will really elevate our program next season."
Tania Molinari
Springfield, Virginia | West Springfield High School
- MVP as a freshman
- Student of the Quarter in 2019
- Received 3.5+ GPA Certificates all four years
Erickson on Tania: "At 5'11", Tania will contribute some height to our incoming class. She has a great feel for the game and moves well in the sand. She adds versatility with her blocking presence at the net, but could also develop into a split blocking defender with her smooth movement and ball control in the back court. We are excited to watch her build strength and think she will be a fun player to watch develop over the next four years."
