• The Sugar Bears and Lady Eagles are meeting for the 3rd straight season, 4th time in 5 years and 12th time overall. The Sugar Bears have won four in a row in the series, which resumed in 2014 after the teams had not met since 1995. In the 2014, '16 and '17 meetings, the Sugar Bears won by an average of 37.3 points, including 50 and 46-point margins in the two most recent meetings. Williams' lone win over the Sugar Bears came on Nov. 21, 1995 – an 80-75 victory in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
• WBU, which competes in the NAIA, has won 3 of its last 4 games. The Lady Eagles own a 77-43 win over Crowley's Ridge, a team the Sugar Bears beat 91-33 in the Farris Center on Dec. 1.
