• The Sugar Bears mark the 3rd straight Southland Conference opponent for the Lady Braves, who fell 77-59 at home to Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 15 before hitting the road to take on Northwestern State – losing 78-65 on Nov. 20.
• The Sugar Bears are 8-1 against teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference under head coach Sandra Rushing, with 7 wins over Alcorn State and a 1-1 mark against Jackson State.
• In last year's meeting with the Lady Braves, four Sugar Bears scored in double figures – though only one returns as Kamry Orr (14 points) joined seniors Taylor Baudoin (20), Kierra Jordan (20) and Angel Williams (10) in double digits in the win.
