CONWAY — Following Tuesday's loss at Jackson State, the Sugar Bears return to the comforts of home on Saturday as they host South Alabama at 2:00pm in the Farris Center.

The Sugar Bears (2-1) have won both their games this season in the Farris Center, where they are 44-6 (.880) over their last 50 games and have won 21 straight regular-season non-conference games.

They welcome a South Alabama team that is 2-0 after opening the season with a 75-57 win over Spring Hill followed by a 77-68 win over Southern Miss. The trip to Conway will be the first road game of the season for the Jaguars, who were 21-13 a season ago and advanced to the semifinals of the WBI – losing by two to eventual champion Yale, which won the title by defeating the Sugar Bears in the Farris Center.

The Sugar Bears and Jags met during the regular season last December, with the Jags scoring a 64-43 win in Mobile, led by Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year Savannah Jones' 20 points and 6 rebounds.

This season, Jones – a 6-foot sophomore guard – is the Jags' second-leading scorer at 15 points per game, behind 6-1 forward/center Antoinette Lewis who averages a team-best 16.5 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks per game.

The Jags were picked 6th in the Sun Belt preseason poll after finishing 11-7 in conference play last season.

Through three games, the Sugar Bears have been paced offensively by senior guard Kamry Orr – averaging a team-high 11 points per game and shooting 90.9 percent at the free throw line. Junior guard Taylor Sells averages 8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game, while junior forward Keturah Bingham is the team's second-leading scorer at 8.7 points per game in just 16.3 minutes per contest, also grabbing 4.3 rebounds per game.

Sophomore forward Hannah Langhi enters as the Sugar Bears' leading rebounder at 5.7 per game while scoring 7.3 per game on 66.7 percent shooting in 17.7 minutes per game. Senior guard Alanie Fisher, coming off a 16-point, 11-rebound performance at Jackson State, averages 6.3 and 4.7.

After Saturday's game, the Sugar Bears will be off for 10 days before returning to play on Nov. 28 at Alcorn State before hosting Crowley's Ridge College on Dec. 1.
