PEORIA, Ill. - The University of Central Arkansas men's soccer team lost 3-1 to Bradley in Missouri Valley Conference play at Shea Stadium on Saturday night. The Braves (6-7-1, 1-2 MVC) outshot the Bears (3-9, 0-3 MVC) 24-6 and had an 8-3 shots on goal advantage.

Junior Bryan Gaul put the Braves up 2-0 with a pair of goals in the 37th and 39th minutes, respectively. The goals were Gaul's eighth and ninth of the season.

UCA cut the lead to 2-1 when sophomore Ethan Miller hit a penalty kick in the 60th minute. The Braves added an insurance goal in the 69th minute when Gaul assisted Keegan Balle's score.

BU goalkeeper Brian Billings recorded two saves, while sophomore Greg Brooks came up with four for UCA.

UCA will travel to SIU Edwardsville on Wednesday for another Missouri Valley Conference contest.
