Kenisha Henry joins the Central Arkansas staff for the 2018-19 season as a graduate assistant following a year as girls head coach at her high school alma mater J.Z. George in North Carrollton, Miss.
"I'm really excited that Kenisha is part of our program," said Sugar Bears head coach Sandra Rushing, who signed Henry as a player at Division II power Delta State before moving on to Central Arkansas in 2012. "She has been a head coach, and brings that knowledge and experience to our staff. I had the privilege to coach Kenisha at Delta State and know that she is a highly motivated person who exhibits a tremendous, caring spirit and is able to motivate young people to do their very best."
Prior to coaching at J.Z. George, Henry played collegiately at Delta State where the Lady Statesmen won 86 games and made three NCAA Tournament appearances.Â
