Andrew Morales begins his first season on the Central Arkansas coaching staff in 2016-17, joining the Sugar Bears after coaching both collegiately and in high school in Texas.
Morales spent the 2015-16 season at Southwestern Assemblies of God, where as an assistant he helped guide the team to a Top 15 ranking in NAIA and a berth in the 32-team national tournament.
Prior to SAGU, Morales served as a student assistant at his alma mater of Wayland Baptist, where he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business, with specializations in economics and finance.
Morales spent two seasons at Plainview (TX) Christian High School, one as an assistant before being promoted to head coach the following season. In his one season as head coach, he guided Plainview to a TAPPS Division 1A State Championship, following a Final Four appearance the previous season as an assistant.
Morales has also served on basketball camp staffs internationally and has served as a volleyball official for the Texas Association of Sports Officials, earning positions in regional and playoff matches.
