Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring 2020)

2022: Appeared in 38 games, starting 34 of them at first base … hit .269 in 104 at bats, logging 28 hits with five doubles and 11 home runs … her 11 home runs are tied for third all-time in a single season at Central Arkansas … put home 34 RBI, with nine games of multiple RBI … against Lipscomb, went three-for-four with a pair of home runs and six RBI … the six RBI were tied for the second-most in a single game in UCA history … had a six-game stretch in the middle of April that saw her hit six home runs and drive in 15 RBI … posted a .991 fielding percentage, committing just two errors in over 200 attempts at first base.

2021: Played in 22 games, making four starts, batting .273 on 33 at bats … had nine hits, with a double and a triple, driving in four runs … went 3-for-3 in a game against Lamar with a triple, driving in two runs.
 
2020: Appeared in 20 games, started seven … posted a batting average of .300 with nine hits … tallied six RBIs, four walks, and one double … notched a fielding percentage of .875 with four putouts and three assists … recorded a career-high three runs scored and three RBIs against UAPB (2/21) … produced a career-best two hits against Morehead State (2/23).

High School: Nelson played high school softball at Arkansas powerhouse Bentonville, guiding the Tigers to four-straight state championships including winning three consecutive titles from 2016-2018 ... Nelson was selected to the Arkansas All-State Tournament Team from 2017-2019, named All-Conference in 2018 and 2019 and was named an All-State Infielder 2018-2019. Her senior season, Nelson rattled off an impressive .452 BA that included 11 doubles and 10 homers while driving in 49 runs and scoring 41.
