2012: Games played/started: 58/58...ALl-Southland Conference Honorable Mention...was fourth on team with a .340 batting average and a .471 slugging percentage...second on team and fourth in SLC with 32 runs batted in...second on team and eighth in SLC with an on-base percentage of .424...third on team with 72 total bases...fourth on team with four stolen bases

High School: A two-time defensive MVP at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, Calif. where she once earned player-of-the-week two straight weeks. She led Pacifica to back-to-back undefeated seaons while also being named twice to the All-Empire League First Team. 

Personal: Daughter of Saul & Wendy Avitia. Has a younger brother, Bobby.
