Kyle Segebart joined the Central Arkansas Men’s Soccer staff as a full-time assistant coach for
the 2022 season after spending five seasons at Western Washington University from 2017-
2022. In those 3 years as the full-time staff member, UCA Men’s Soccer has continued to
challenge for the ASUN Tournament Championship while playing a top non-conference
schedule. The Bears were runners up in both 2022 and 2024 and fell to the 2023 Champions in
the semi-final. In three seasons in Conway, Segebart has helped coach 9 All-ASUN and 3 All-
ASUN Freshman team players.
Following the 2024 season and the retirement of Frank Kohlenstein, Segebart was named the
head coach on December 3, 2024.
While at Western Washington University (2017-21), Segebart coached numerous All-
Conference, All-Region and All-Academic student Athletes. The Vikings also received their first
NCAA Division II national ranking, #14, in 2018 and won their first GNAC championship in 2019
(13-5-1 record) and a sixth seed in the Region 4 NCAA Division II Tournament.
Prior to his run at WWU, Segebart was an assistant coach at the University of Dayton (2011 and
2015-2017), Saginaw Valley State University (2014-15), Franklin College (2013-14) and Midland
University (2010). Between universities, Segebart coached at Ole Football Academy/Island Bay
United in Wellington, New Zealand where he helped develop a number of New Zealand Under
20 and New Zealand National team players.
Segebart played collegiatly at the University of Rio Grande (Ohio) and at Cedarville University
(Ohio) as well as professionally in the USL for the Dayton Dutch Lions FC and Team Wellington
in the ASB Premiership in New Zealand.
Graduate of Cedarville University with a BS in Sports Management and a minor in Business and
Bible. Segebart also holds a United States Soccer Federation A-Senior and United Soccer
Coaches GK 2 Coaching Licenses.
Currently a staff coach for Arkansas Youth Soccer South Region Olympic Development
Program.
Born in Winter Haven, Florida, Segebart currently resides in Conway, Arkansas with his wife
Danialle, son Henrik, and dog Indiana Jones.
