Braden joined the University of Central Arkansas men’s basketball program in 2025.
Braden spent the last five seasons at Fordham University, most recently holding the position of director of player development.
Prior to his last role, he had served as the team's video coordinator, player development coordinator, and assistant video coordinator. Braden helped the Rams enjoy their best season in more than three decades. Picked to finish 11th in the Atlantic 10, Fordham compiled a record of 25-8, including a 12-6 mark in conference, during the 22-23 season. The Rams' 12 victories and .667 winning percentage set new high-water marks for the program's 28-year A-10 tenure. Fordham tied for second in the final A-10 standings, its highest-ever finish, and advanced to the semifinals of the league tournament for just the second time. In 2021-22, Braden helped lead the first phase of the program's turnaround. After winning a total of two games in the previous season, the Rams finished 16-16 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the A-10 Tournament for the first time since 2007.
Immediately after graduating, Braden served as an assistant coach at Sarah Lawrence College. Braden helped lead the team to its first conference playoff win in school history.
A 2019 graduate of The University of the South where he received a degree in environment and sustainability, Braden was a four-year member of the men's basketball program. During his four years, the team compiled a record of 71-38. During his senior season, the Tigers went 22-7, won the SAA conference
championship, and made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1998. Those 22 victories were good enough for the second-highest win total in program history.
Prior to his senior year, Braden spent the summer of 2018 in Los Angeles interning for NBA Trainer Drew Hanlen. He assisted Hanlen with pre-draft workouts and individual workouts with current NBA players and prospects.
