EDUCATION: received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Florida Southern in 2008... earned his master’s degree in sport management from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2011.

COACHING HISTORY: Since coming to UCA Bennett has coached five All Southland Conference wide receivers selections in three seasons, Including Dezmin Lewis who is 2nd in UCA history in receptions (197) and 3rd in receiving yards (2,618) and receiving touchdowns (24). Played in 2015 Senior Bowl and was a 7th round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2015 NFL Draft. As well as Desmond Smith who finished career as UCA’s all-time leader in receptions (226), all-time leader in receiving yards (2,828) and 4th in receiving touchdowns (20). Set the school single-game record with 14 receptions against Stephen F. Austin in 2015.
   Coached wide receivers at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College under UCA head coach Steve Campbell from 2008-2013.... coached three NJCAA All-American wide receivers in six seasons, including the No. 1-ranked juco prospect in D’haquille Williams, who signed with national runnerup Auburn... coached on two MACJC conference championship teams and four MACJC South Division championship teams and coached in four NJCAA bowl games... MGCCC finished ranked in the Top 10 national poll all six seasons. Coached tight ends at Webber International University in 2007

PLAYING HISTORY: played quarterback and receiver at North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, N.C... four-year letter winner at New Port Richey (Fla.) High School... three-year starter at quarterback.
