EDUCATION: received associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 2006... received his degree from Southern Illinois University with a degree in recreation in 2009... played at Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Miss. 

YEARS ON STAFF:  1st year

PLAYING HISTORY: played two years (2007-08) as a running back at SIU-Carbondale... was an Associated Press first-team All-American at SIU in 2008... in his two seasons at SIU, rushed for 1,790 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging more than six yards per carry... also returned 28 kickoffs, including three for touchdowns... in 2008, ranked second in the nation in kickoff returns at 31.2 yards per return... played two seasons at MGCCC for then-head coach Steve Campbell and was an NJCAA All-American... led his team with 1,237 yards and 121 touchdowns on 169 carries 

COACHING HISTORY: served as an assistant high school coach at Carbondale High School for one season after graduation, then returned to CHS after two seasons as a graduate assistant at SIU... became a graduate assistant coach at SIU under Dale Lennon in 2010 and 2011... was an offensive graduate assistant in 2011 and coached Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) newcomer of the year and 1,000-yard rusher Jewel Hampton... 

FAMILY: Warner and his wife Dominique have two daughters, Penny and Alivia
