PLAYING HISTORY: was a record-setting quarterback for the Bears from 1991-94... led UCA to its first outright NAIA championship as a freshman in 1991... in four seasons at UCA, put together a 30-8-3 record as the starting quarterback... sixth in career passing yards at UCA (5,578) and eight in passing TDs (39)... holds school record for average yards per completion (18.0 in 1991)... played high school football at Vernon (Texas) HS... led the Lions to a 29-2-1 record as a junior and senior... led the team to the 1990 Class 3A state championship as a senior... will be inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame in Fall 2018... the 1991 NAIA championship team was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in Fall 2017  

COACHING HISTORY: most recently was head coach at Abilene Christian University for five seasons, and ACU’s offensive coordinator for seven years prior to that... coached quarterbacks (2001-01) and was offensive coordinator (2002-04) at UCA... was an assistant coach at ACU in 1998-99... was a graduate assistant (1996-97) and student assistant (1995) at UCA
