COACHING HISTORY: brings 24 years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II, NCAA FCS and NCAA FBS levels... was defensive coordinator at Louisiana-Lafayette from 2010-12... defenses ranked 2nd in the Sun Belt  in both 2011 and 2012... won the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl both seasons... was defensive coordinator at Jacksonville State from 1999-2010... coached on Jacksonville State’s 1992 D-II national championshp team... won the league championship three times and made playoff appearances three times... placed 33 defensive players on the All-Ohio Valley Conference teams after joining the league in 2003... coached 13 All-Americans... was defensive coordinator at Delta State in 1998-99 when the Statesmen won the Gulf South title and made the Division II Playoffs... was an assistant coach at Jacksonville State from 1989-1998... made four straight playoff appearances from 1989-92
