Previous School: all-conference tight end at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Miss... 22 receptions for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns... had a 3.6 grade-point average... Phi Beta Kappa member

High School: played at Tishomingo High School in Luka, Miss... all-conference selection in 2012 and 2013... all-division selection in 2012 and 2013... all-region in 2012... East-West All-Star Game in 2013... 7-on-7 national tournament... 2013 team captain... also played basketball and baseball
